Features and Benefits

The Copier Program offers many advantages over traditional options for acquiring a copier. A detailed listing of the features and benefits follows.

Features

  • A variety of Black-and-White and color models, all with copy, print, scan, and fax functionality
  • A range of accessories, such as finishers and expanded paper decks –that can be added to fit a variety of needs
  • Support from Printing Services, including coordinating the acquisition, payment of invoices, and billing
  • Access to the Copier Program intranet to update your account, check billing history, order supplies, and request service
  • Initial and on-going training as needed

Benefits

  • Prices will not increase during the five-year term of the agreement.
  • Prices will decrease if the lifetime volume commitment (minimum monthly volume times 60) is reached before the five-year term is completed.
  • Prices include the machine, service, and supplies (excluding paper).
  • Equipment can be upgraded or downgraded without penalty if needs change.
  • No capital investment is necessary. Payments are based on actual copies made or the minimum monthly volume (whichever is higher).
  • No paperwork – such as requisitions and purchase orders – is necessary to order a machine.
  • Invoices are processed by Printing Services, departments will not have to handle any invoices.
  • Printing Services will resolve any problems or disputes relative to the equipment or vendor.
  • The machine is insured by the vendor and would be replaced in the event the machine is damaged or destroyed (not including normal wear and tear, abuse, etc.).
